Neurodiversity training delivered by neurodivergent trainers

If your primary school is part of the Partnerships for Inclusion of Neurodiversity in Schools (PINS) programme across England, the training chosen for the programme locally is the part that actually reaches the classroom. Autistic Girls Network delivers PINS training across the UK, and every session is delivered by a neurodivergent trainer.

That is not a detail. Most neurodiversity training describes neurodivergent children from the outside. Ours is delivered by people who were those children, and who can tell your staff what the quiet, compliant, academically fine girl in row three is actually doing to get through the day.

What is the PINS Programme?

The PINS programme is a Department for Education-funded programme running in primary schools across England in 2024/5, 2025/6 and 2026/7. It is organised locally so each area’s curriculum looks different, but broadly speaking it covers training for schools and support for parents across broad areas of neurodiversity. AGN worked with 10 Local Authorities across England in 2025/6 and delivered a wide variety of training, including our Autism, Girls and Keeping it All Inside workshops and our Whole School Approach to Neurodiversity programme, featuring our interactive assembly for the whole school which is a lot of fun!
