Autistic Girls Network is a life line for girls who are struggling and those on the pathway to a diagnosis, because there are no groups in my area Hockley Birmingham where we live. As a parent I feel let down and abandoned by the education system, because they don’t want to help, and due to high demand for autism assessment in the Birmingham area. Autistic Girls Network should have more groups in the West Midlands, so more girls have opportunities to experience the excellent service that you provide, because it makes a difference in their life with activities, friendships, confident, safe space and being part of an autistic community. This group has inspired me to keep on the pathway for autism assessment for my daughter, and the group has inspired K to go out and mix with girls like herself with no pressure.
